Office Policies

Appointments ->

Please schedule appointments in advance to ensure you receive and retain the time slot you most desire. If you have a scheduled appointment and are unable to make it, please cancel with 24 hours notice.

If you are unsure of your appointment date and time, please call the office. If you receive voice mail, kindly leave a message including your telephone number and your call will be returned in-between patient appointments.

It is understood that occasionally unforeseeable circumstances arise that prevents you from being on time for your scheduled appointment. Unfortunately time constraints do not allow for patients being more than 15 minutes late.

If you find that you are running late, please give the office a call to avoid making an unnecessary trip.  If possible,  every effort will be made to accommodate your circumstances.

Private Treatments ->

If you require private treatments, please let me know. There is an additional fee to accommodate this request.

Cancellation Policy ->

There is a minimum requirement of 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment. If you have missed or rescheduled an appointment with less than 24 hours notice, you will be responsible for the full charge of the office visit.

Payment ->

Blue Orchid Healing Center is set up for direct pay. Payment is required at the time of service. Check, cash, Visa and Mastercard are acceptable forms of payment.

If a check is returned, a fee of $25.00 or more will be applied to your account. Your account balance, including all additional charges must be current before treatment will resume.

If you desire, you may pre-pay for a series of treatments as outlined by your personal treatment plan.  Just ask if you want to do this.

Reduced Fees ->

For those on very limited incomes,  a reduction in treatment fees is offered, as I want to make acupuncture affordable to everyone who needs it.  Ask about how to qualify for this, just be aware that you will be required to furnish proof of income.

Insurance ->

Does my insurance cover this?

This depends upon your policy. Please keep in mind that health insurance was never designed to keep you healthy – it was designed to cover expensive drugs and surgery.

Please contact your insurance companies to find out what benefits you are entitled to and if Christine Hasinger, AP is a listed provider.

If I am a listed provider and can verify your benefits, I will be happy to submit your bill to your insurance company. You will be responsible for any co-pays and purchases of herbs or supplements.

If I’m not a listed provider, upon request, I will provide the information you need to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Payment is required at the time of service.

In the case of injuries sustained in an automobile accident, Florida law requires your Auto Personal Injury Protection or PIP policy to pay for treatment. In this situation,  assignment is accepted  once benefits are verified and you will only be responsible for your 20% co-pay.
